Behind The Brand
Hi there, I'm Cat.
I'm the creator behind Village Folk.
I adore the simple life and live for the moments. The smell of rain. Feeling the breeze on my face. A cup of tea on a chilly morning. Cosy baby snuggles with my little loves. Long walks with my fur baby. A good book.
These are my happy places. Do I get to spend long in them? Not often.
I have two kids (and a fur-baby) to call my own. All slightly crazy, all extremely loveable.
Life is chaos, but I couldn't feel more blessed.
Just before my second baby came along, I had the urge to create something unique for her. Being the youngest child I often had hand-me-downs growing up. So I wanted something special, made just for her. And what could be more unique than a personalised name sign? Nothing too showy, or over the top. Something beautiful, timeless, and made with love.
I used the time before my daughter arrived to embrace my creative side which I'd always just boxed aside. And boy did I love it!
Creating these knitted pieces for my little loves has been one of my favourite things, and I hope to do the same for your little loves through Village Folk. My third baby and home to beautifully simple pieces.
I'm quite the introvert, but really quite friendly! Follow me on Instagram to catch the latest announcements, sneak peeks of 'behind the scenes' life, or drop me a DM to say hi.
