What are knitted wire words and shapes?

They are gorgeous handcrafted pieces designed as children's bedroom decor, gifts and keepsakes. I use 100% acrylic yarn to create a knitted cord. This is then combined with a sturdy but lightweight stainless steel wire to create your name, word or shape!

 

What is the turn-around time?

The turnaround time for orders is currently 1-2 weeks.

If you need an order in a hurry for a special occasion, please contact me via Instagram DM or at hellovillagefolk@gmail.com to discuss it. Where possible, I am happy to expedite orders.

 

Wire is poking out of my sign. What do I do?

Unfortunately this can happen while your package is in transit or if it’s being handled often.

All you have to do is slide the cotton back over the ends [from the middle outwards] to cover them back up again. Once this is done & the piece is displayed it shouldn’t be an issue. After a while the cotton will settle into place & it’s much less likely to happen.

 

Can the sign be handled by children?

Village Folk signs are created for display and to be enjoyed from afar. They are not toys, and not designed to be handled by children. 

We do our best to round the edges of the wire, and use strong stainless steel wire to make the signs as sturdy as possible. However, if a child were to pull the sign it would misshape the shape or lettering & could damage your sign.
